Frau Holle

Frau Holle in the German story makes it snow by shaking out her feather pillows. Here I decided to give her a more direct approach to creating winter.

Can't say it created the image exactly for the challenge but will try to submit it to the fairy theme.

This scene took a lot of time to set up, as I had to create most of the vegetation, aside from the snow covered trees. They are from AMs winterland.
I had to render several times as I had real problems getting rid of the fireflies, especially on her face. They are still there somewhat, I think they are a result of the SSS. Giving her a bit of direct light on the face reduced them to a 'barely' acceptable level. Still not happy but after twice over 24 hours I decided to call it a day. The 'fireflies' on her upper coat are a result of metal flakes, so wanted.
